How we value cars — our data & methodology
Every price assessment on UAE Deals is generated the same way, from the live market. This page explains exactly how we group listings, work out a typical price, score deals, and decide what to trust — so you can judge our numbers for yourself.
Bringing the whole market into one place
We continuously gather car listings from across the UAE's car marketplaces and match the same vehicle wherever it appears. Listings for the same make, model, year and trim are folded into a single card, so instead of opening a dozen tabs you see every listing for one car in one place, cheapest first.
The typical price
For each model we take the median of the listings we trust — the middle price, not the average — because the median isn't dragged around by one unusually high or low ad. We call this the typical price, and it's the anchor every deal is measured against. The more listings a car has, the more reliable that figure is.
How we score a deal
Each listing is compared with the typical price for its exact model and year. A listing well below typical is flagged as a good buy, one close to typical is fairly priced, and one well above is overpriced. We weigh mileage and condition where we can read them, because a cheap car with very high mileage isn't the same deal as a cheap car with low mileage.
Filtering out bad data
Scraped prices are noisy: a monthly instalment or a deposit is sometimes published where a sale price should be. Before we calculate anything we strip out figures that are implausibly low or high for the model, so a single junk number can't distort the typical price or invent a fake bargain.
Knowing when a car is gone
Listings sell. We re-check older ads and mark cars that have clearly been taken down, and on some sites we read the sold state directly. A price you see is meant to be one you can still act on — not a stale ad from months ago.
Confidence, and what we don't claim
Our assessment is an estimate built from public listings — not an appraisal or financial advice. It is strongest where a model has many similar listings and weakest where data is thin, and we show how confident the numbers are. Always confirm details on the original listing and inspect the car before you buy.
We link out — we never mirror
UAE Deals does not sell cars or copy listings. When you find a car you like, we send you straight to the original source to continue. The seller, the price and the transaction are always theirs — our job is simply to help you find the right listing faster.
